He has led successful campaigns across sectors including hospitality, sustainability, cloud computing, enterprise tech, cybersecurity, finance, AI, healthcare, government and politics, nonprofits, and consumer goods.

Mike Carter

Mike Carter is the co-founder of Volume One, where he brings his decade of digital marketing expertise to drive data-centered strategies that have a real impact. Mike has led high-impact campaigns for influential organizations, including the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), New Era Colorado, Environment America, and Young People for All People.

Throughout his career, Mike has honed a versatile skill set, managing multi-channel digital campaigns, crafting compelling social media content, overseeing large scale CRM data migrations, building websites, and leading high-performing teams. At NRDC, Mike led the Western region’s digital communications, supporting key legislative initiatives, and spearheading organic and paid media campaigns that advanced environmental and social justice causes.

Mike’s deep understanding of the intersection between digital marketing and advocacy is also evident in his work at New Era Colorado, where he developed and executed strategies that boosted social media engagement by over 1100%, managed substantial paid media budgets, and oversaw a complete digital transformation. Whether he’s fine-tuning SEO strategies, creating dynamic content with Adobe Creative Suite, or managing large-scale campaigns across platforms like Google and Facebook, Mike brings a wealth of expertise to every project.
